Pronunciation: tal-FAY-rol
Tal-Faerol is a high elven kingdom, built on a region of grassy meadows and forests. "Tal" is an old elvish word meaning "kingdom", and "Faerol" loosely translates to "descendents from the Faerie Realm".
Tal-Faerol is ruled by King Aldaeryn, along with a council of elves who represent the various regions. Because Aldaeryn is very old, but has no heirs, there are many questions about who will rule after his death. Many elven lords on the council would like this power to fall to them.
As inspiration for Tal-Faerol, think of Rivendell from Lord of the Rings. Elves from this region might have names like Filvendor, Luthais, Myantha, Ruvaen.
Will fill this in with more detail later.
